Hunts
Included in the hunt are guides, meals, and lodging--we will be soon be placing hunters in a motel in Terry. Caping and processing are not included - but are available locally
Deer
Deer hunts take place in eastern Montana on 80,000 acres of leased ground with the majority of that being private ranches. Both Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available,with Mule Deer being predominant.
The primary method of hunting is spot and stalk. With many hours of glassing, a good pair of binoculars is highly recommended. The main method of access is 4x4 vehicles, along with walking, according to the hunter's physical capabilities.
Deer rifle season generally runs the last week of October through Thanksgiving weekend.
Antelope
Antelope rifle also takes place on private ranches using the spot and stalk method.
Rifle tags for antelope are available on a draw basis with the deadline being June 1st. Combo hunts for deer and antelope are available - contact Double D Outfitters for more information.
