About Us 
Hello my name is Craig Schell, I own and operate Double D Outfitters in Terry Montana. With 17 years experience as either a guide or outfitter in Montana I will do my best to make your hunt a memorable one.
Double D Outfitters specializes in deer and antelope hunts in the prarie and badlands country of eastern Montana. With 80,000 acres of land, on which only 20 hunters a year are allowed, you'll have plenty of room to stretch your legs and hunt.
Hunts are set up for groups of no more than 4, although we will take larger groups if requested. The hunter to guide ratio is 2 hunters to 1 guide, unless otherwise requested. Our guides are all first class hunters and excellent individuals.
Antelope and deer archery season opens in early September, followed by antelope rifle, generally around the 10th of October. Rifle deer season opens the last week of October and runs until the Sunday following Thanksgiving. For more detalils feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to help in any way I can. 
This 2-1 guide arrangement allows me to give a great deal of personal attention to each hunter and insure they get what they expect from the hunt. I’ll hunt with you if you want, and you can also hunt on your own as much as you desire. There is a certain amount of intensity that comes with the need to get out and find game with all that acreage, but we make sure that it’s also a nice opportunity to just spend time, relax and reflect. We hunt Antelope during that early season, then White Tail and Mule Deer later--the Montana big game season runs from November into December. We cater to a high number of repeat customers and I think this is a tribute to our experience, hunting style and skill as well as the intangibles of our hunting style. I feel you can learn a lot from me, not to mention the other hunter--probably a highly experienced hunter as well.
